Half E-Atrium - Unbannable Library

Event Description:

Presentation of books by the Unbannable Library, a project in which LAGCC students participated. The Unbannable Library celebrates the freedom to read. Created through collaborations between community groups, high schools, and artist/writer teams, these unique larger-than-life interactive books draw attention to the voices and stories most often subject to censorship. Visitors are invited to turn the giant pages, encounter new works of art and writing, and reflect on the importance of intellectual freedom in our libraries and communities.
